Treasure Hunting submission terms and conditions
By sending an article, news story, reader find, letter, photograph, illustration or any other material to Treasure Hunting for publication, by any method, you agree to these terms. “We” means ACG Publications Ltd trading as Greenlight Publishing, publisher of Treasure Hunting and TH+.

Permission to publish and reuse
You give us non-exclusive, worldwide permission to publish, reproduce, distribute and make your submission available, in whole or in part, in the printed magazine, its digital editions, TH+, and any other print or digital publication, service or promotional material relating to Treasure Hunting. This includes websites, apps, searchable archives, social media, newsletters, collections and reprints, whether free or paid for.

This permission lasts for the full duration of copyright, including continued availability in our archives. It allows our printers, distributors, digital platforms and other service providers to use the material only as needed for these purposes.
Editing and credit. We may edit, shorten, format, digitise and translate your submission for these uses, while respecting its meaning and your legal rights. Please provide the author and image credits and tell us before publication if you wish to remain anonymous. We will credit contributors and image owners where reasonably practicable and honour any agreed or legally required attribution.

Your assurances
• You own the copyright in all text, photographs, illustrations and other material supplied, or have obtained permission from every relevant rights holder allowing you to grant us the rights set out above.
• Any third-party permission covers these print, digital, archive and promotional uses, including TH+, rather than only a single magazine appearance. You will provide evidence of permission if requested.
• You have obtained any other consents legally required for these uses, and the submission does not infringe anyone’s copyright, privacy, confidentiality or other legal rights.

Tell us about any restrictions before submitting. We can accept a submission with restrictions only if we expressly agree them in writing. Contact us promptly if a permission or rights concern comes to light.

Ownership payment and publication
You retain any copyright you own and may use or license your work elsewhere. Any payment must be agreed separately in writing. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, an agreed payment covers all the uses above, with no additional fee for reuse. We are not obliged to publish any submission. Any different terms expressly agreed with us in writing take precedence.
